This vegan pizza is made with a simple homemade crust, that mixes, rises, and cooks all in under an hour. It is covered in a savory garlicky homemade pizza sauce, and topped with an abundance of fresh chopped veggies. This is the homemade vegan pizza recipe you need in your life.
There is no shortage of toppings with this vegan pizza recipe. Double olives, kalamata and black. Double onions, white and green. Artichoke hearts and chopped cherry tomatoes. Those are Roma tomatoes in the picture, but I was thinking cherry tomatoes would be better , so use those if you have them. One plant based pizza coming up!
Homemade Vegan Pizza Crust
This Easy Pizza Dough Recipe from Moms Need to Know is key to making this homemade vegan pizza as delicious as it looks. It comes together in about 15 min of prep time, 30 min of rise time, and under 15 min of cook time. It made enough for 4 mini round pizzas, and 2 large square pizzas cooked on standard sized (16×12 or so) baking sheets.
Ingredients
- 3 cups Flour
- 9 oz Warm water
- 1 tablespoon Yeast
- 1 tablespoon Raw Sugar
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 teaspoon Sea Salt
Directions for preparing the crust by hand, or using a kitchen mixer are both here (with a picture tuturial) at momsneedtoknow.com.
To make large and mini pizzas, like we did, divide your dough into 3rds, then divide one of the 3rds into 4ths for the mini pizzas.
