Earlier this year, I finally (finally!) made the Vitamix blender part of my kitchen collection. Even though I knew it was an awesome tool, I had no idea how much I would actually use this blender. Almost everyday. It’s not necessary to use a Vitamix to create these 3 healthy energy packed smoothies, but it will be so much easier if you do!
My current favorite healthy energy packed smoothie is the Coconut Green Banana. It tastes like ice cream, whips up in just a few minutes, and keeps me full throughout the morning. The fiber rich chia seeds add a delightful texture. Coconut flakes blend into a chilled buttery crunch. The banana and almond butter give it just the right amount of pleasant sweetness.
Coconut Green Banana Smoothie
1 frozen banana
1 cup spinach
1/4 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
1 tablespoon almond butter (fresh ground)
1 tablespoon chia seeds
Coconut Almond Milk Blend
This next smoothie is my Little One’s favorite smoothie. She thinks it’s just a chocolate shake, but it’s secretly full of healthy ingredients. With about 10 grams of protein, this smoothie is a good morning start for her day.
Next Level Mexican Chocolate Smoothie
1 frozen banana
2 tablespoons peanut butter (fresh ground)
1/4 cup chocolate almond milk
1/4 cup Unsweetened vanilla almond milk
Sprinkle of cinnamon
This next smoothie is the perfect post work out hydrator. It is also a nice refresher for the backyard on a summer day. With a blend of berries, cucumber, and lime, it’s essentially spa water in a smoothie. Yum!
Cucumber Berry Hydrator Smoothie
1/2 cup blueberry
1/2 cup raspberry
1 small cucumber
1/4 cup Coconut water
1 fresh squeezed lime
The Caribbean Avocado smoothie deserves to be garnished with an umbrella. It’s a tropical vacation swirled into a smoothie. A fresh fruity blend, rich in B and C vitamins, with a touch of hidden greens.
Caribbean Avocado
1 small Avocado
1/2 cup frozen Pineapple
1/2 cup Mango
1 frozen Banana
2 kale leaves
1/2 cup Water
Hope you enjoy these 4 healthy energy packed smoothies!
